Ep6: From Clinic to Time Freedom: Embracing an Online Practice w/Jeremy Cornish, L.Ac.

Founder of Damn Good Doctors Club and TCM Weaver, author, father, entrepreneurial wizard, healthcare rebel, and Licensed Acupuncturist

Aloha friends, family, supporters, and new listeners!

Welcome to another episode of Yinspired. This week’s guest is someone I’ve known since 2005. We started our graduate degrees in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at the Pacific College of Health Sciences (formerly “PCOM”) in San Diego at the same time. While I never used this term in our conversation, I consider Jeremy as soul-family.

We didn’t have an agenda, and that’s good - since we wouldn’t have followed it anyway! I never know where our conversations will take us. As he points out, we’ve been podcasting since 2006 (I remember our conversations, but don’t remember recording them).

I’m so grateful that he took the time to sit down with me just like the good old days. It ended up being a meandering conversation on mindset, highlighting the importance of self-growth as a healer, healthcare professional, or someone who wants things to be different, or better, or just as good as they can be.

As often with Jeremy, I walk away with more questions to ponder, like “Do I reeeeally have a growth mindset?”

Do you?

From my heart to yours,

Haunani

Meet Jeremy Cornish, L.Ac.

When you meet Jeremy, you’ll learn there are two types of excellence in clinical practice:

  1. Patient excellence- this means the people we’re working with have a world-class experience. This improves as we get better and better at clinical thinking, treatment plans, packaging our offers, and communication.

  2. Practitioner excellence - this means we (the business owner) are living our dreams every single day. Waking up excited about what’s in store, doing work that feeds us rather than draining us. Having a thriving practice that's not only sustainable but also allows for a rich personal life.

Some of his most recent creations include:

TCM Weaver is designed to give you a deeper understanding of Eastern Medicine with visual mindmapping capabilities never before seen in the field

Damn Good Doctors Club is designed to help you refine your clinical thinking and implement new practice models (including packages, memberships, retreats, online programs and online hybrid models..) all while hanging out with some of the most vibrant colleagues you could imagine. DGDC on YouTube
